Today I did something that I hope more people will do as a result of reading this post: cut up my unused credit cards and closed the accounts. Had I paid cash up front for everything I put on these cards in the first place, I could’ve bought an entire new wardrobe by now with the money I’ve spent on interest! Sorry Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Chase, I no longer work for you! Now I can use that extra money to save, and only buy the clothing and other products that I really need. Recycling old clothing by donating to your local shelter is a great way to help others out, please do so whenever possible. Yippee!

I realize I’ve taken a hiatus from my keen interest in women’s clothing, but I’m back! I will be conducting some more research and sharing it with you soon. Women’s clothing is a world so interesting it will not be permitted to be left alone :) Stay tuned…
Thanks to everyone for all of your support in ‘08! I’m thinking I should do an overall website redesign this year to make a great improvement for all of us women’s clothing shoppers out there!!!
Ok, so this is a little off-topic, but I just have to share with you this bit of fun… Safeway has this great program where every dollar you spend on groceries goes toward a fuel discount. For every $100 you spend, you receive a $0.10 fuel discount. You can save up your discount but must use it before the end of each quarter, when it resets to zero. So I’ve been saving up for awhile and just went to fill up tonight - check out the price I ended up paying for 35 gallons of fuel!

That’s $0.159/gallon - gotta love it!
I’ve always enjoyed the look of a cowgirl. There is something about the attitude of a cowgirl that shines through in her appearance. Maybe it is the way that her hat is pulled down just enough for the sun’s shadow to ease the squint of the determined gaze. It could be the collared long-sleeved shirt that has been firmly pressed. Or maybe the trim fit of the jeans. The boots add the genuine touch and always seem to tell the true story of the cowgirl - is she at work, or ready to go out for the night? The boots will tell.
